Weird iPhone 3gs app glitch/ bug?

I’ve had an iPhone 3gs, OS4 for about a year now. It has always run smoothly with minimal issues, if any. Until yesterday, there have been no problems. I downloaded pandora radio via the app store using the 3g connection. I have about 9 or 10 pages of apps, but still a little more than 2gb of open memory left. It supposedly downloaded to the first page of my phone, however there is no free space here, and it’s nowhere to be found anyway. I looked through my phone, in every possible place, and the app just isn’t there. I looked through itunes while my phone was connected as well, it claims I haven’t even downloaded. The strange part is, If i search it on the page to the left of my springboard, it finds it and I can use it just fine. If possible, I’d like to get the shortcut to the app to appear like all the others. I’d rather not have to search for it. Since it has no shortcut, I can’t delete it and redownload it. What can I do?
I searched for complaints for Pandora radio and found out that it is quite a good product (very few complaints in the past several years), so I doubt it is the product. (I use Slacker, btw.)The only thing I can think of, is that the latest version os Pandora is not quite compatible with your exact version/build of OS4. I would suggest uploading the absolute latest version of your iPhone operating system and reinstalling Pandora.OR… write a note to Pandora and tell them your exact problem and maybe they will come out with the next version that fixes this bug of yours.
